Cryolipolysis is a device-based body contouring technique that locally cools fat cells to low temperatures and gradually destroys them. During the procedure, a handpiece captures a fold of skin containing fat tissue and cools it to controlled temperatures without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue. Dead adipocytes are naturally eliminated through the lymphatic system over the following weeks, reducing the volume of the fat fold and smoothing its contours. This method is used for localized fat deposits that are difficult to remove with diet and exercise: the abdomen, flanks, saddlebags, inner thighs, knees, back, and other problem areas
The Zsculpt 4D device is used for cryolipolysis, a non-invasive fat reduction technique using controlled cooling. During the procedure, localized cooling of fat cells triggers their destruction (lipolysis) without damaging surrounding tissue.
