Laser eyebrow tattoo removal is a technique for gradually removing pigment layer by layer through its selective destruction with light pulses. Laser energy targets the pigment particles, breaking them down into smaller fragments that are then gradually eliminated via the lymphatic system. The skin surface remains intact, without damage to the surrounding tissues. This procedure is used to lighten or completely remove unsuccessful, outdated or discoloured permanent eyebrow makeup. The number of sessions depends on the depth of pigment placement, its colour and how long ago the tattooing was done; on average, a course of several treatments with intervals is required to allow the skin to recover safely and the pigment to fade step by step

Laser tattoo removal is a staged process of clearing pigment from the skin using short light pulses that are selectively absorbed by the ink particles. Under the influence of laser energy, the pigment is fragmented into smaller particles, which are then gradually removed through the lymphatic system. This technique is used to lighten and remove both small and larger tattoos. The result and overall treatment duration depend on the colour and depth of the pigment and the age of the tattoo. In most cases, a series of sessions is needed, during which the design gradually becomes lighter and less contrasted and can either be fully removed or prepared for cover-up with a new tattoo

Results

On average, a course of about 3–8 sessions at 4–8 week intervals is required, depending on pigment depth and colour, and how old the tattoo or permanent makeup is. The pigment lightens gradually: the outline and colour become less defined, the design loses intensity and can either be completely removed or sufficiently faded for correction or cover-up

Recovery

Immediately after treatment redness, swelling, a burning sensation and a whitish “frosting” on the skin in the treated area may occur
Small crusts can form later and usually fall off on their own within 7–14 days
During recovery, do not pick at crusts, avoid trauma and overheating of the area, and do not apply makeup to the brows or treated skin until it has fully healed
Avoid tanning and use a high-SPF sunscreen
