LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal is a modern, safe method of removing unwanted hair on the face and body by targeting the hair follicles with laser energy. The hair pigment melanin, found in the hair shaft and follicle, selectively absorbs light of a specific wavelength. As it heats up, melanin damages the matrix cells and the blood and lymphatic vessels that nourish the hair bulb. This precise action does not harm the surrounding skin and provides a long-lasting aesthetic result. Within a few weeks, hairs with destroyed roots shed naturally

Our specialists use the latest-generation Alma Soprano Titanium diode laser. This device combines three wavelengths, which allows it to effectively remove hair on the face and body, including lighter hair, and makes it suitable even for darker skin types. The innovative ICE Plus cooling system with a sapphire tip continuously cools the skin, maintains a comfortable temperature, and minimizes the risk of burns, so the procedure is well tolerated, virtually painless, and delivers stable aesthetic results after just a few sessions

Oncological diseases (cancer)

Decompensated diabetes mellitus
Acute infections and fever
Active skin diseases in the treatment area (dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, herpes, etc.)
Recent intense sun exposure, self-tanner use or tanning bed within the last week
Use of photosensitising medications (some antibiotics, retinoids, etc.)
Recent injuries, burns or skin irritation in the treatment area
Pronounced tendency to form keloid scars

Laser hair removal is performed as a course of treatments: one session cannot remove all hair at once, because the laser is effective only on hairs in the active growth phase. On average, 6–8 sessions at 4–6 week intervals are needed to significantly reduce hair density and achieve a long-lasting result.

Even after the first sessions, the hair becomes finer and grows more slowly.

The total number of sessions is selected individually and depends on the treatment area, skin type, hair colour and hair structure.

To maintain the result over time, occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended once or twice a year

Preparation before the session

14 days before the first session: do not remove hair with the root (no plucking, waxing, sugaring or epilators) — shaving only
7 days before: avoid sunbathing, tanning beds and self-tanners
3–5 days before: do not use aggressive peels, scrubs or acid products on the treatment area
24 hours before: carefully shave the area to be treated
On the day of the procedure: do not apply creams, oils, deodorants, alcohol-based lotions or perfume to the treatment area
Inform your practitioner about any medications you are taking and any chronic conditions

Aftercare

On the day of the procedure: do not rub or traumatise the skin; avoid alcohol-based products and scrubs
For 24 hours: avoid hot baths, sauna, steam room, swimming pool and intensive workouts
For 3–5 days: do not do peels and avoid aggressive skincare products on the treated area
For 2 weeks: protect the treated area from the sun and use SPF 50 sunscreen
Do not pluck or wax regrowing hair — between sessions, shaving only is allowed
